Hi I'm B.J. the Worm!

BJ stands for “Big Job” (Ahead) which is symbolic of the present waste crisis that our humble earthworms in the RELN Worm Factories all over Australia are voraciously combating. BJ the worm was developed as the mascot for the Worm Factory appearing in all our promotional literature. He is a likeable character who can be used to put fun into the many relevant issues of waste minimisation and recycling. The name ‘BJ’ was the result of the Lake Macquarie Councils Hunter Envirofest ‘Name The Worm’ Competition. Hundreds of entries were received from various schools in the region. |
